“I love Broken Arrow Schools! It’s just a great a school district!,” says Julie Verardo, an NSU graduate, who began working for the school district in 2000.
“I told myself if I ever got a full-time teaching job, I would want it to be in Broken Arrow.”
Verardo is a learning disabilities resource teacher at Arrow Springs Elementary, one of the many fine schools within Broken Arrow.
Verardo, who is also a graduate of Broken Arrow High School, says she has worked at other schools.
“But, there’s something about Broken Arrow Schools that makes it more special,” Verardo says. “It’s just a very good atmosphere.” That feel-good vibe is evident at all of the schools, she says, explaining the staff welcomes new people into the district.
“They are just so nice and helpful here,” Verardo, stressed, “Broken Arrow Schools is a great place to find a job.
“I’m just happy to teach here in Broken Arrow. I plan on staying here.”
