GOLD MEDAL READERS

Any student who reads ten books and passes the Reading Counts quizzes over their books will receive a gold medal sticker in reading.  Mrs. Fichtner will

visit the classrooms of our gold medal winners and honor them.

There is no limit to the number of gold medal stickers you can win.

The top three readers for the school year will be recognized during our awards ceremony in May.

Those three students will receive a medal and:

1st Place -- Gold Medal -- $100 gift certificate to Barnes & Noble

2nd Place -- Silver Medal -- $75 gift certificate to Barnes & Noble

3rd Place -- Bronze Medal -- $50 gift certificate to Barnes & Noble

2008 - 2009 READING OLYMPIC WINNERS:

Gold Medal - Alex Harper - 8th Grade - 5,839,799 Words

Silver Medal - Zac Gullickson - 8th Grade - 5,193,542 Words

Bronze Medal - Holly Harper - 6th Grade - 4,654,517 Words
