PLAN TEST DATE (For Sophomores Only)
Click here for PLAN - An
Introduction
Test Date: October 7th, 2010
Tenth grade students will take ACT's PLAN Test during 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th hours
on the date listed above. This is the only time the PLAN will be given this year. PLAN, which is taken by most students in preparation for the ACT Assessment during their junior or senior year, includes
academic tests and a survey of career interests. PLAN also provides an estimated ACT Assessment score so you can see if you're on track for the college or career of your choice.
Vo-Tech also uses your PLAN scores as an entrance requirement during the interview process. If you are undecided, PLAN can put some focus
into your future. Participating in PLAN gives you a head start on career and educational planning.
Each participating student receives a report that
-Identifies academic strengths and weaknesses
-Helps students explore career interests
-Helps focus goals and the preparation needed to achieve them
Please note the ACT/SAT deadlines listed to avoid penalties.
Please register as early as possible to insure your choice of test sites. If you need assistance from the Counseling Office, begin the paperwork at least two weeks in advance of the registration deadline.
You are responsible for registering for these tests. Checks are payable to ACT or SAT when you enclose them in your packet. The school code
needed for tests is 370-480. Do not mail packets after the deadline. They will not be accepted by either registration service.
