An easy way for Sequoyah parents to help the school is by participating in the many educational fundraising programs offered by local and national companies. These programs require little effort from parents and provide huge benefits for Sequoyah. The programs we participate in and their requirements are:
Amazon SchoolRewards Program
Sequoyah can earn between 4% - 10% of every purchase made by any shopper who uses the SchoolRewards link above to enter Amazon.com through our school website.

GENERAL MILLS BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION
This will be our second year to participate in the Box Tops for Education collection campaign. We receive 10 cents for each box top collected. Box Tops makes it easy to earn cash for Sequoyah through everyday activities like buying groceries and shopping online - all at no additional cost to you. Last year through our Box Tops campaign we were able to add 3 beautiful tiger murals to our building - thanks to you!

Sign Up at the Box Tops Website...It is easy, free and you'll learn about new ways to help our school earn the extra cash it needs. You will be able to track our school's Box Tops earnings, print money-saving coupons for your favorite Box Tops brands, enter to win Bonus Box Tops for Sequoyah, and make mealtime easier with family-pleasing recipes. Shop Online...Start all your online shopping trips at the Box Tops Marketplace. Over 60 popular stores have teamed up with Box Tops for Education and up to 8% will be donated back to Sequoyah at no additional cost to you. Once you have signed up click on the "marketplace" tab to find out more about this program.
In order to make this fun and exciting for the kids we will offer incentives throughout the year to reward them for their efforts. Please ask your relatives, neighbors and friends to help our students collect and save. To make the saving process easier we will be using Box Top Bucks. Use these collection sheets and attach one Box Top in each square (no staples please). When the Buck is complete you have just earned our school $1.00...it is that easy! Box Tops and Box Top Bucks can be turned in to the front office.

CAMPBELL'S LABELS FOR EDUCATION
This program offers our school an excellent opportunity to earn FREE athletic equipment. Much like the Box Tops Program we are asking you to grab your scissors and save! Labels for Education effort involves products like Campbell's Soups and other Campbell's products, Pepperidge Farm bread, Goldfish and more Click Here for a complete list. Donate your Coke Codes to Sequoyah so we can earn athletic equipment, creative suplies and student incentives. Send all coke products lids to school in a bag with your students name included.*******************************************************************
CARTRIDGES FOR KIDS
Have you recently changed or upgraded your cell phone? What about all those empty printer cartridges? What does your office do with toner cartridges or cell phones? Did you know that you can recycle these items as well as digital cameras, laptops, video games/consoles and more at Sequoyah? ABITIBI PAPER RETRIEVER PROGRAM
Have you noticed the big green and yellow bin as exit our parking lot? If you didn't already know, it is a paper recycling bin. Start saving all of your newspapers, junk mail and magazines and drop them in our bin. You can also bring shredded paper...just make sure it is in a plastic bag. Please DO NOT place any cardboard or phone books in the bin as these items are not recyclable by ABITIBI. The school will be reimbursed for each ton of paper we recycle. This is a great program to get your children involved in...it promotes a green environment while teaching our children the importance of recycling. Begin now and make it a habit to start all you errands with stop by our recycling bin.

TARGET TAKE CHARGE OF EDUCATION PROGRAM
Target stores will donate up to 1% of all REDcard purchases made at Target or Target.com. Please visit THIS LINK to enroll in Take Charge of Education or call 1-800-316-6142 and use our School ID# 85859. Target will also donate 1/2% of purchases made everywhere else when you use your Target Visa card...but remember you must designate Sequoyah with our ID number by visiting Target.com or calling the number above.

OFFICE DEPOT 5% BACK TO SCHOOLS
If you or your family purchase any items at your nearby Office Depot, remember to first give them our School ID# 70081451. This will qualify us for a 5% credit on anything you buy. Ordering online? Just enter this number in the "special instructions" area. These dollars are allocated especially for Sequoyah and help us purchase free supplies for the classroom. A great way to earn money for SMS as you shop for your back to school supplies.

WAREHOUSE MARKET TAPES FOR EDUCATION
Sequoyah is enrolled in the Warehouse Market incentive program. By saving your cash register receipts and sending them to our school we will recieve one percent of the total amount of receipts collected in cash. This program runs from July 1, 2009 - June 30, 2010
