Broken Arrow High School has been a very faithful and supportive Partner in Education. Because B.A.H.S. and Westwood are on adjoining properties, the Westwood students are afforded numerous opportunities to interact with the high school students.   Through the various activities such as Tiger Pals, Cheer Pals, Leadership Class, foreign language classes, and child development classes, high school students are often on the Westwood campus, offering their leadership skills to teach our students. Our students also enjoy the opportunity for "walking field trips" to the B.A.H.S. campus.  We have attended pep rallies and have toured the facilities as part of the CAT TRACKS program.  For the past several years, under the guidance of Mrs. Grace Lannert, the Leadership Class has served  as Westwood's Junior Achievement volunteers.
The collaboration between the two schools has proven to be a valuable asset for both sites.  The high school students serve as role models for Westwood's students, and in return, the high school students are provided with opportunities to develop leadership skills, which will benefit them in their careers.

Pastor Shane Hickey
Fellowship Christian Church has been partnering with Westwood for three years. We enjoyed a cash gift of $1,000 last year, along with items purchased each month for teachers from their Wish List. We look forward to bringing some of the church's members on board as volunteers and mentors in the school this year, along with continued support in providing wish list items. Pastor Hickey is very passionate about giving back to the community and it is apparent in the church's dedication to be creative in supporting our school this year. Hideaway Pizza became a partner with Westwood in 2009. We enjoyed a cash gift of $12,000 last year, along with delicious pizza for Teacher Appreciation Week. With these generous funds we were able to purchase Smart Boards for 4 classrooms.
